Madisonville North Hopkins High School

A first place finish over the weekend for the archers at Madisonville-North Hopkins High School. The Maroons were shooting in the Southside Tomcat Holiday Shootout. Madisonville ended up with a team score of 3294 with 145 tens to claim the top spot among the seven high school teams. Webster County High School was second with a 3216 and 125 tens. Riley Peyton shot a personal best 291 with 21 tens and tied for the top finisher among high school boys. His teammate, Tanner Pryor also shot a 291 with 21 tens to tie for the top slot. Keith Parker finished 4th by shooting a personal best 285 with 18 tens. Arieana Shrewsberry had a 275 with 13 tens and took 3rd place in the high school girls. Madilyn Brister finished with a personal best 272 with 9 tens and was in 8th place among high school girls.
