Varsity vs Union County High School Don’t look now but the Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons just might be the hottest softball team in the 2nd Region. The Lady Maroons scored the last five runs of the game Thursday night in a 7-3 win over Union County. The win gives the Lady Maroons 10 straight. Sadie Kirk scored in the bottom of the first to put the Lady Maroons in the early lead 1-0. Katelyn Rodgers led off the bottom of the second with a shot over the centerfield fence to push the lead out to 2-0.
